DAY 01: ARRIVE KATHMANDU AND TRANSFER TO NAGARKOT
Meet and traditional welcome assistance by our representative at the Tribhuwan International Airport & head out on a 1 hr 30 mins drive to Ngarkot. Check into the hotel with welcome drink and tour briefing. Get refresh. Evening, you will marvel at the spectacular view of whole Lamtang ranges, sunset and greenery hills at Nagarkot. Overnight stay at Nagarkot.
NAGARKOT: Nagarkot, located 32 kilometers east of Kathmandu, is one of the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur district and is renowned for its spectacular sunrise view of the Himalaya when the weather is clear. Visitors often travel to Nagarkot from Kathmandu to spend the night so that they can be there for the breathtaking sunrise. Nagarkot has become famous as one of the best spots to view Mount Everest as well as other snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. It also offers an excellent view of the Indrawati river valley to the east. With an elevation of 2,195 meters, Nagarkot also offers a panoramic view of the Valley and is described by visitors as a place whose beauty endures year round.
DAY 02: DRIVE TO CHITWAN AND EN-ROUTE VISIT MANOKAMANA TEMPLE
Walk up call early morning, enjoy the sunrise view over Himalayas including Mt Everest. After breakfast, drive to Chitwan National Park. (175 KM /4-5 hours). Manokamana is believed to be a temple of goddess who fulfill the wishes where you are taken by a cable ride of 8 mins. Cable Car is main attraction in Nepal to visit Goddess Manokamana. Back to highway and continuous drive to chitwan. Arrive Chitwan, welcome drink and tour briefing. In the evening, Enjoy Tharu Cultural dance. Return back to hotel. Dinner and Overnight at hotel. MANOKAMANA TEMPLE: Manakama which literally means soul wish is a Hindu goddess who is believed to fulfill all the wants and desires of the people. It is situated on Gorkha at the height of 1302 metres from the sea level.. Before the temple was unattainable due to its location people had to ride in horseback for 2-3days to reach here but now it is easily accessible due to the cable car. The name Manakamana originates from two words, "mana" meaning heart and "kamana" meaning wish. It was built in 17th century and it is believed that Goddess. Chitwan is one of the Asia's premier wildlife reserves established in 1973, situated in terai, subtropical southern part of Nepal and extends in 360 square miles of tall grasslands and habitants of wide variety of mammals and birds, including several endangered species. 68 species of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of Fauna and 126 species of fish has been recorded. The specialty of this park is one horn Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger and Gharial crocodile.
DAY 03: CHITWAN JUNGLE SAFARI ACTIVITIES Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
Wakeup call for tea and coffee and proceed for nature walk and bird watching tour. Back to hotel and breakfast & leave for jungle safari on Elephant back where you can get chance to experience an amazing wildlife. If you are lucky enough then can see different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, leopard, monkeys, birds including endangered species. Return back to hotel for Lunch. Check out from the hotel and depart for Pokhara( 186KM /4 hours ). Reach Pokhara(Lake City), check into the hotel with welcome drink and tour briefing. Get refresh & explore tourist area of Lake Side if time permits. Get back to hotel and overnight. POKHARA The rare combination of snow-clad peaks and snow fed lakes and rivers has helped to make the valley of Pokhara, one of the most picturesque natural attractions in the kingdom. It is located virtually in the geographical center of Nepal. Located on the main road between Kathmandu and Bhairahawa, there may be no other place in the world from where Great Himalayas peaks can be admired from such a close distance. The Bindhyavasani Temple on its well-kept platform overlooks a modest amusement park. Phewa Lake, skirted by a large numbers of unpretentious lodges and simple restaurants, is the most congenial spot for visitors.
DAY 04: POKHARA SIGHTSEEING
Walk up cearly in the morning, you are the witness of the real view of Himalayas from the hotel. After breakfast an unobstructed view of Himalayas including Mt Dhaulagiri (8167m), Manasalu (8163 m), Annapurna IV(7525m), AnnapurnaIII (7555m), Mount Fishtail (Virgin Fishtail)(6993m) on a clear day. Also best view of Pokhara Valley and greenery hills. After taking breakfast, move towards the sightseeing of Pokhara covering Devi's fall, Guptepswor Mahadev cave, Bindabasini temple and Seti George. At the end 1 hr boat ridein fewa lake. Overnight stay at hotel.. DAVIS FALL: Davis Fall is natural water fall located at Pokhara in Kaski District. It is naturally made. An interesting aspect of the fall is that the water travels through a natural tunnel and comes from Fewa Lake. The fall was named after Mrs Davis and Swiss tourist in Nepal, who was swimming in Fewa Lake waterfall. SETI GEORGE: Pokhara valley is a valley of geological wonder. Because of the three major caves and Seti River, The inner part the valley has many natural tunnels. They are still to be explored. Seti River has made awesome gorges in many sections. In some section the gorges goes more than 200 meter deep whereas the width is just about 20 meters. GUPTESWOR MAHADEV CAVE Gupteswor is a cave just the other end of Davi's fall. Inside the cave a natural statue of lime stone has stand. People believe that the lime stone statue is a symbol of Lord Shiva. Today the cave is popular as a religious site of Hindu pilgrimages and in many religious occasion, devotees from all part of the country and even from India too devotees visit the site. There is a small tunnel connecting Gupteswor cave to Davi's fall. The access is easy and takes only 10 minute to cross and reach the pond made from the fall. FEWA LAKE Fewa Lake is a prominent lake of Nepal. It lies on the west corner of Pokhara valley. It is approximately 5km long and 1.5 km wide and covers an area of 4.4 sq km. The west bank of lake is surrounded by green rolling hill and thick forest and on the east of the lake there are hundredth of hotels, lodges, restaurants, travel and trekking offices, shops and other tourist related service centers. Boating on Fewa Lake is a thrilling moment that you can enjoy at a time the smiling virgin Machhpuchhre on the far north, thick forest with rare wildlife and hiding scene of fishtail mountain underneath on your boat. BARAHI TEMPLE In the middle of Fewa Lake on a small island Barahi temple is situated. It is not only a holly shrine of Hindu devotees but also a best spot to observe surrounding hill and settlements including towering and pointed peak of beautiful fishtail mountain. A five minute boat ride reaches the island. Religious functions like marriage, birth day celebration, wish fulfilling pooja are performed.
DAY 05: DRIVE POKHARA - KATHMANDU
Breakfast & drive back to Kathmandu. Reach Kathmandu. Check in at hotel. Rest of the time free to explore the Thamel Market as own. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 06: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING & DRIVE TO CHITWAN
Breakfast, proceed for Kathmandu sightseeing Pashupatinath Temple. Boudhanath Stupa -Swoyambhunath Stupa(Monkey Temple and Patan Durbar square. Back to hotel and you can busy in shopping in thamel tour Hub as own. Overnight at hotel. PASHUPATINATH Situated 5 kms. east of Kathmandu City, Pashupatinath temple is one of the holiest temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Situated amidst a lush green natural setting on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River, the temple built in pagoda style has gilted roof and richly carved silver doors. Visitors will be permitted to view the temple from the east bank of Bagmati river, entrace in the temple being strictly forbidden to all non Hindus. Pashupatinath is the centre of annual pilgrimage on the day of shivaratri which falls in the month of February/March. Behind the temple are the cremation grounds. BODHNATH This Stupa, 8 kms. east of Kathmandu City, is one of the biggest in the world of its kind. It stands with four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal direction keeping watch for righteous behaviour and human prosperity. This Buddhis Stupa was built by King Man Deva at the advice of the Goddess Mani Jogini. It is built on an octagonal base SWAYAMBHUNATH Located approx. 4 km/2.5 miles, Buddhist stupa this is said to be 2000 years old. The stupa which forms the main structure is composed of a solid hemisphere of bricks and earth supporting a lofty conical spire capped by a pinnacle of copper gilt. Painted on the four sided base of the spire are the all seeing eyes of Lord Buddha. This hill is a mosaic of small Chaityas and Pagoda temples. PATAN 5 kms/3 miles away from Kathmandu City. Patan also known as Lalitpur, is the city of fine arts, enclosed within 4 stupas said to be built in 3rd century AD, by Emperor Ashoka. You will see the Durbar square; the Krishna Temple built by King Siddhi Narsingh Malla, Hiranya Varna Mabavihar and MahadouddhaTemple.
DAY 07: FINAL DEPARTURE FROM KATHMANDU
Breakfast & check out from hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight to your onward destination with sweet memories of Nepal.
